Hitler och vi på Klamparegatan aka Hitler and we in Clamping Street
This is from the autobiographical documentary drama called Hitler och vi på Klamparegatan aka Hitler and we in Clamping Street (Sweden 1997) - OUR BIG THANKS GO TO MY WONDERFUL COLLEAGUE SHAMAN AND CHANCELLOR OF IITH REICH OTK, WHO DISCOVERED THIS GEM AND ALLOWED ME TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR ALL OF US. - Daddy Albin M/m teen son Erik, spanking with his hand on the bare buttocks, position of bent over his father's knee, tears after the spanking, at home. The dad sent all the other family members out of the room before actually starting the smacking on his ass. Before the actual spanking takes place, his mom asks his dad not to hit him in the head.
Driven by desperation Erik's friend devises a risky plan to redeem his grandfather's watch from the pawnshop. The two boys decide to disguise Erik as a blind beggar.
The plan relies on the sympathy of the local women living in the apartment building. As they hear the music and see the "blind" boy, they drop coins from their windows, hoping to help a boy they believe is sightless.
This scene serves as a pivotal moment in the film, illustrating the harsh realities of poverty and authoritarian parenting in 1930s Sweden. The story centers on Erik, a young boy struggling to survive in a crowded, impoverished household, and his father, Albin, a man hardened by unemployment and the crushing weight of their social standing.
The problem arises from a desperate act: to secure money for his family’s survival, Erik's friend pawned his late grandpa's watch and he convinced Erik to pretend to be a blind beggar and try to beg for the money needed to get the watch back. When Albin discovers this, it triggers a severe disciplinary response. The father, burdened by his own feelings of helplessness and failure, enforces his authority through physical punishment, stern warning Erik: "First, you get fed; then, you get a spanking."
As the adult narrator (the older Erik) reflects, the physical pain of the beating was secondary to the profound humiliation of the situation. Aged matches perfectly. It is perfection par excellence.
I had a hard time finding that one, just like the movie Quest: The Truth Always Rises (2017) which remains findable.
The Shaman look forward to collaborating. LOL
