Brooke Mayo attacks with a leg lock / toe hold. At that moment, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane has free hands, and her opponent’s exposed hindquarters are the only target within reach. Slapping the butt in this position serves as a distraction technique. It annoys the opponent, disrupts their focus, and forces a reaction. 

Ilima-Lei Macfarlane competed only in the smaller 4-person Combat Jiu-Jitsu tournament and won it.
