紫禁之巔 aka Top on the Forbidden City, Episode 1.

 It is from the TV Series called 紫禁之巔 aka Top on the Forbidden City, Episode 1. The master’s rage is driven by his fear of losing control over his daughter's future and his deep-seated disapproval of modern influences, which he views as inferior and corrupting.

The thrashing is only brought to a halt when one of the Master's own students (and Xiao Ying's close friend) intervenes. By physically shielding Xiao Ying and standing up to the Master's authority, he forces the father to pause.
