寂寞空庭春欲晚 aka Chronicle of Life, Episode 11.

 That is from the TV Series called 寂寞空庭春欲晚 aka Chronicle of Life, Episode 11. During the investigation of an assassination attempt on the Emperor, investigators scrutinized personal belongings and behavior. Chang Qing stepped forward and confessed to the authorities that his suspicious movements were tied to his hidden romance with Yun Chu. Admitting to this forbidden relationship violated palace rules, resulting in an immediate sentence of 30 strokes with a wooden paddle for both of them. 

As Nalan Rongruo tightens the investigation and suspects close around the staff, Chang Qing decides to sacrifice himself to protect Yun Chu from being falsely accused of the assassination plot. He publicly confesses to their secret relationship. 

Despite the impending pain, Chang Qing calmly reassures a terrified Yun Chu. As the punishment is administered, they tightly hold hands to comfort each other—highlighting their deep loyalty and tragic bond amidst the harsh and unforgiving rules of the imperial court.
