岁岁知我意 aka More than I Can Say, Episode 2.

Her defiance and refusal to submit to the troupe's rigid, patriarchal rules led to her immediate physical punishment. 

Immediately following these scenes, Nan Feng (the senior brother of the troupe) displays a strong sense of loyalty. He offers to share the punishment to shield them. Following his lead, the rest of the troupe members kneel in solidarity, a traditional cultural gesture representing group responsibility and a plea for mercy. The troupe leader, eventually halts the punishment, warning them that they must learn from this and that the reality of the theatrical world is far more complex than they realize.
