那江烟花那江雨 aka Love Story of Court Enemies, Episode 15.

 This is from the TV Series called 那江烟花那江雨 aka Love Story of Court Enemies, Episode 15. (China 2020) This scene was previously published here in July 2021 under the title Unknown Chinese TV Series 12. It is now being re-uploaded in better quality, with English subtitles and an explanation of the plot.

Enraged by the insult to her parents, Zhao Yuxing physically attacked Yan Huanyue and she forcibly held her hand behind her back. 

Zhao Yuxing is the main protagonist of the series, and at this stage of the story, she serves as the Executive Chef in the Imperial Kitchen. It’s amazing how bravely she accepts the ordered physical punishment. She doesn't beg for mercy, nor does she cause any hysterical scenes. The corporal punishment was ordered by her female superior, Sous Chef Wen.

Later, there is a scene where she is lying on her stomach in her room because of her sore posterior. At that moment, her friend, a guard, comes in and offers to treat her beaten backside with some healing ointment, but Zhao Yuxing refuses.
