Miss Qin framed the situation to Madam Bai, claiming the maid was outrageous and laid hands on her. She argued that as a noblewoman, she couldn't let a lowly servant treat her with such disrespect without damaging her family's reputation. 

However, Prince Yi Han arrived before the corporal punishment was finished. He was furious, stating that Lianxiang is his person and that no one else has the right to discipline her. He ordered the guards who were carrying out the punishment to collect their wages and dismissed them from their service immediately.
