Kiss Me Kate 2004

 The scenes are from the musical called Kiss Me Kate (USA 2004) This very good version is from the Richardson Theatre, Honolulu, Hawaii. All of these scenes take place on stage, right in front of a live audience. 

1. Petruchio M/F his bride-to-be Kate, one light slap with his hand on her buttocks, position of standing. Before that, she bit him on the thumb. That first smack is already a preparation for further successful taming as Kate has started to show her horns.

Eventually, he has a small cushion brought for her and places it on a wooden stool. But just as Kate is about to sit, he pulls the cushion away at the very last second. Kate lands hard on the wooden stool, letting out a cry of pain.

Finally, we got what we’ve been waiting for. I’ve always wished to see a scene in 'Kiss Me Kate' where the punishment is delivered with something other than just a hand. A paddling is a whole different ball game compared to a simple spanking. It makes Kate’s complaint to Harrison—that she can’t even sit down—much more realistic. While a hand would hardly cause such sharp pain, a paddle certainly makes it believable. So, enjoy! For me, this is the best spanking scene I’ve ever seen in any production of 'Kiss Me Kate' so far. The only fault I’d find is that I wish the spanking had lasted a minute or two longer.
