If he wants to survive, he must reevaluate his priorities. Kirke's hospitality is just a cover to capture him and make him a slave on the farm. Alone, without knowledge of the language and constantly tied to the pigs, the young man tries to adapt to his new life and slowly gains the self-confidence that could lead to freedom and true love.
