55:15 Never Too Late, Episode 7.

Genie accepts the punishment, stating, "It is my fault". She later tells her friends that she knew she would be punished but did it anyway because she wanted to know the feeling of doing something wrong.
Genie’s reaction is absolutely perfect and appropriate. However, what disturbs me most is the attitude of her classmates. It seems that liberal education has already reached Thailand, which was once a bastion of discipline. Her classmates overreact to a few strokes of the cane, calling it physical abuse and even asking her if she is a masochist. They don’t understand that this discipline is about respect, not sex. It’s a shame to see that this liberal upbringing is turning schools into places where teachers lose their authority and students do whatever they want.
